Mother's Day Weekend Shenanigans!

Thursday, May 12, 2016

We had a full and fun weekend!

Friday afternoon/evening the girls had dance pictures.  Afterwards, we went to celebrate cousin Hannah's 20th Birthday and then two of their friends slept over (who are also sisters and the same ages as my girls...so fun!)! If that wasn't enough fun, I stayed up late into the night with glitter and tulle making a tutu and wrist ornaments (because I have no idea what else to call them) for Ava's cheetah costume.

These girls are professional.  While waiting for their picture to be taken, they were running dances instead of running around. #workethic

Happy Birthday, H!
So many girls piled in to a double bed.  :)  Ava appears to have all the room!  Ha!

How I spent my night/early morning.  I'm still finding glitter everywhere.

Saturday the girls were up early playing outside while I made waffles and got everything ready for the rest of the day.  Ava had her last soccer game and all the girls had more dance pictures.

Ava has really come a long way in the soccer department.  She scored 5 goals and had a ton of assists.  This little team of theirs is the bomb.  While dance is her #1 love, soccer is a very close second.

We got home from the day around 6 and everyone was completely exhausted.  AC told me to get in the bed and watch Fixer Upper.  I decided to oblige.  A little while later they made me a bath, with rose petals, and let me lock myself in the bathroom to enjoy that.  That alone was a miracle because if I do get a bath, someone is always trying to get in the room.  Or they continuously knock on the door.  sigh I love being a Mom! #forrealtho

After my bath, I came in to the kitchen and found this.

 Sweetness.

Sunday I had a bed full of little peoplea quick breakfast, and then we were off to church.  John BBQ'd ribs and we did pretty much nothing the rest of the day.  That's my favorite.  I absolutely love to go, but on Sunday I love to do nothing.  I couldn't have asked for a better day!

Ava driving us home after church (it was just down our street, people).

The bouquet of flowers all 3 of my girls made me at church!

My heart.

And it wouldn't be appropriate to leave out this lady on Mother's Day!  Missed being with my Mama on Mother's Day, but loved these pictures she sent me.

Happy Thursday!
