Life lately!

Life lately has been a little c-razy.  Let's get caught up.

WHAT I'M LOVING LATELY

I finally finished Parenthood at 3 AM last Tuesday morning and let.me.just.say.  One should NOT subject themselves to that series finale AND the death of Derek Shepard in the same year.  #yourwelcome
Really though...I loved it so much, I started it over from episode 1 the following night.  And don't let that husband of mine fool you.  He was all in for a repeat.

WHAT WE'RE UP TO LATELY

I've been crazy coordinating some PTO events, Anna Claire has been studying for the spelling bee, the big girls have been busy busy with dance rehearsals (first competition of the season is this month...whoop), Ava's first piano lessons (and she's in LOVE), dentist appointments, sickness, and preparing for Valentine's Parties for last Friday!

First lesson!
Alli nailed her first dental exam.  Ok, that was probably a stretch, but we did survive to talk about it.  They weren't able to do any cleaning, but the dentist was able to count her teeth and check for an obvious cavities.  Which there were none!

We met up with a sweet friend for McTeacher night at McDonald's.  No, we don't eat McDonald's, but I will chow down on a fry all the in name of supporting our teachers and schools.  :)

I was able to observe AC's musical theater class.  This girl can throw out some sass and acting skills when at home, but she clammed up in front of everyone.  :)

Wednesday was the PTO Limo Pizza lunch.  My main duty with our school's PTO is fundraising.  The winners of the fundraiser (who sold the most) were chauffeured in a limo to Papa Grand's pizza for lunch.  Everyone had a blast!!

There were a total of 36 kids from 6 schools.  It was fun to coordinate, but I'm glad it's over.  ;-)

Valentine's Day Sass!

Ava's party was Friday morning.  There were lots of treats and goodies, games, and a photo booth.  The minute to win it games with candy conversation hearts were a HUGE hit!  And the photo booth never fails to provide laughs and fun!

Anna Claire's class was low-key and quiet compared to kindergarten.  They strictly ate goodies, passed out Valentine's, and played bingo.  I'm so glad I was able to attend as this is probably the last hurrah for her elementary years.  Bless Mama's heart.

When I get the chance to be in my kiddos classrooms, I LOVE looking through their desk.  I was surprised and overjoyed to find my Shel Silverstein book in her desk.  Love my little bookworm.

WHAT WE'RE READING

What I'm reading, actually.  I love a good miracle, redemptive, birth story; most especially, when it comes to a micro-preemie.

WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

ONLY because I'm a team player and I love my girls....;-)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

Competition, Tremaine Convention, Spring Break (whoop), lots and lots of Spring cleaning and getting organized!

WHAT ELSE IS NEW

We're hopefully about to buy a new house, so there's that!  John is working on a BIG project and getting in & up all the new merchandise that's been rolling in to the store for spring.  He's also making plans for another run with Shark Tank auditions.  Lots of fun happening!

That's life lately in a nutshell.

Happy Monday!!
XO,

Jackie
