I have some total RANDOMness for your Friday!!  I'm stuck in the phase of it's not cold, but it's not hot.  And it's not Christmas, but it's not, not.  ;-)

Hope you enjoy!  :)

{one-God's call}

John and I have been talking a lot about things.  About our testimony.  About dreams.  About purpose.  And then this little bitty pops up over on my favorite worship teams FB page.
This was such a good reminder in this season of restlessness.

{two-pieces}
Keeping with that theme, this song has been on repeat.  For like weeks now.  PLEASE do yourself a favor.  Get in your quiet spot with God and listen to this song with thanksgiving.  That's our God.  I promise the holy spirit will knock your socks off.  #thatbridgetho

{three-advent}
I'm already preparing for our Advent and Jesse tree and I just have to share two of my most favorite books we use.  Unwrapping the Greatest Gift is simply beautiful.  Just keeping it real here, but Ann Voskamp can write.  So much so that I can hardly follow her.  But this book.  It's beautiful and is such a great addition to our advent and jesse tree.

And if you have been living under a rock and haven't read the Jesus Storybook Bible.  Well, just please get it as fast as possible.  I literally have cried over every page.  So beautifully written.  Every story truly whispers His name.

{four-ava's reading}
I mean.  Have you ever heard such a voice??!  Sweetest ever.  She is rocking kindergarten and reading.  So proud!

{five-christmas shopping}
While I do love to put up my Christmas decorations I DON'T like shopping for Christmas.  Don't get me wrong.  I LOVE.LOVE.LOVE to give.  But I take it all too seriously and analyze every.single.detail of the gift.  And then when I finally decide on the perfect gift, I search to the end of google for the best price.  And by that time....
it's SOLD.OUT.EVERYWHERE.  And I'm left with last minute madness to find another perfect gift.
So, EVERY.single.year I vow to start early.  And EVERY.single.year I don't.
But this year.
Gift #1 in the bag.  Santa has found the perfect gift for our sensory seeking Alli Grace.  Now, if someone could just point me in the right direction for the rest.  ;-)
The Ikea swivel chair comes in blue and orange.
I am so excited and hope I can keep this up!   Here's to hoping the rest of November doesn't leave me spinning and looking for presents on December 23.

{six-parenthood}

And this makes 6, but y'all.  I started to watch Parenthood a few weeks back and oh.my.  Was I living under a rock when this came out?!  It's so good.  I love every.single.Braverman like they are my own, already.  I hear it's only going to get better!

I LOVE how they are showing another side to life that isn't perfect.  That is real.

Oh and I love Lauren Graham so there's that.

Last, but certainly not least....

Had to.  For the love. Pass me a Venti Chestnut Praline.  And Merry Christmas!

Happy weekend!
XO,
Jackie

  2. I just started watching Parenthood too! I am in the middle of season 2 now and I am addicted. I can see me and my siblings in the Bravermans and it honestly makes me think about my relationships with them and how I can be a better sister and mom. I can't get enough of it!

    Have a great weekend!
