Crock Pot Cheese Tortellini

Friday, August 28, 2015

You know what reason #6,324 why I love fall??!!

Crock pot season.

Yes, it's an actual season.

And cheese tortellini is one of my favs.

It's still 90 outside, but in my head it's going to be a cool fall night.  Perfect for curling up with a bowl of cheese tortellini and my favorite people.

Fresh in the crock pot.

Ingredients

1 box/bag frozen cheese tortellini

1 lb sausage (any sausage you prefer, but I like Italian the best)

1 package of fresh spinach

2 cans Italian style diced tomatoes

2 cans of vegetable broth

1 8 oz pkg of cream cheese, cut into cubes

Directions

1) Brown sausage in the skillet on your stove until cooked and crumbled (like you would hamburger meat).  Drain and add to the crockpot.

2) Add the sausage and the remaining ingredients to your crock pot, stir to combine, and call it a day.  Or call it you have 5 hours to do something else.

Serve with garlic bread and a small side salad.
