Christmas 2013 Recap

Thursday, January 2, 2014

I thought about sitting down and editing our pictures. It's actually one of my New Years resolutions.

Again.

I have a shutter happy finger and 75 million chil'rens so staying on top of our families pictures has never been my strong point.  Like ever.  So this year, I vow (again) to stay on top of all my pictures.  I vow to make sure they are all backed up.  I might even vow to make those "family yearbooks" I pinned a few years back and vowed (again) to make them.

Yada, yada, yada.  Ain't nobody got time for that.

So.  Here are our 75 million unedited Christmas pictures.

You're welcome America!

Christmas #1 in Branson at Papa and Nini’s
John's brother and his family came up from Little Rock the weekend before Christmas.  Because of our isolation and living in Tennessee, it has been 3 years since we had seen his girls!  Needless to say, these 4 developed a fast bond.

Christmas #2 in Arkansas at Papaw and Gigi's House
We spent several days in Arkansas with my parents.  My brother and his kiddos joined us on Christmas Eve.  We shopped.  We ate.  We shopped.  We ate.  And repeat.  I'll forever remember Christmas Eve, after everyone went to sleep.  It was my husband, my Daddy, and my brother. Just me and my boys.

My Mom always leaves a tree in the hearth room for the kids to decorate.

The girls decorating our birthday cake for Jesus.

I hope you like sprinkles.

Yummies

That pony.  Swinging.

Again.  Hop you like sprinkles!  Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Throwing reindeer food on the deck.  They had it thrown before I could even snap a pic.

Baby it's cold outside!

Ty and Morgan are early risers.  My kids could sleep until noon.  Here you can tell Ava was not amused at the 8 am wake up call.

Saige!!!

Ava's twin!

American Girl Dolls all around.

Shortly before 10 am, the little woke up.  She made her way down the hall in expectation.

She bypassed all the goodies and went straight for a bag that had already been opened.  Proving a box and/or tissue paper is the best gift.

Oh, but she did like her trampoline!

Christmas #3 back in Branson at Papa and Nini's
Back in Branson my camera was barely hanging on, so I only got a few shots from Christmas #3.  Both John's sisters and their families awaited us at his parents.  The kids had a pretty intense Bingo game, but luckily everyone came out alive.
Barely.

We hope you enjoyed your Christmas with your families as well.  This was our first in three years!  It felt good to be with everyone.  And I know the girls loved every minute.
And on to New Year's!
