Two years is a BIG deal, especially in the world of micro preemies.  Here are  the last two years of monthly progression in pictures.

And my final post like this!

I can't keep a post like this up forever and 2 is a great place to stop!

What a long, strange trip it's been.

I'm often asked how you can continue to specifically pray for our big girl....
As we march forward into the Wonderful Two's, we humbly thank you for your continued prayers.  We have felt them and know they have been heard.  Our current prayers for Alli are as follows.  We would love you to join us in agreement.

1) First and foremost, lung and heart health.  She still has severe lung disease.  Her recent bout with RSV didn’t help matters any.  Her pulmonary hypertension is controlled, but still always a concern.  We keep her lungs healthy and healing, her pulmonary hypertension will resolve.

2) That we can figure out her sensory issues (since no one quite knows yet).  These sensory issues are a contributing factor in her eating, walking, talking, and meeting developmental milestones.

3) That she show interest in food.  She currently has none.

4) That she begin to talk.  She’s currently vocalizing and babbling more than EVER before, but it comes in streams.  She also just began mimicking, which is a huge!

5)  That she will walk.

6) That any central sleep apnea episodes would resolve.  Last night, Alli had 20+ episodes with heart rate drops into the low 50’s.  I spent much of the night stimulating her so that she would breathe.  Pray that her brain will tell her to breathe.

Here's to knocking 2 out of the park and amazing strides for Alli in the coming year!
