This mother's heart was finally at peace with the extra equipment and new season in our lives.  I won't lie.  I've had my reservations about them.  And it mainly came from my attempt to seek normalcy for my child.

But at the end of the day I remembered.

We deal with oxygen.

We deal with feeding tubes.

We deal with 50 million different things.

We threw normal out the window along time ago.

Toe walking, high tone, sensory issues, and stability are Alli's main hindrances in the walking department.

The first attempt was pitiful.  She did get up and walk some with her push toys, but for the most part she sat and cried.  Luckily, we had to ease her into them.  She is just now up to wearing them 4 hours a day.  Thankfully, she's not fussing much anymore when we put them back on.  She has become a little Houdini and can get out of them somehow someway.

There is no set time frame on how long she'll need to wear these.  As always, it's on "Alli time" and she likes to keep us guessing and on our toes.

I've been guilty of only praying for Alli's health, but my new prayer for Alli is for "new" legs and a "new" voice. I believe it like I believe God healed her lungs and heart.  She will walk.  She will talk.  Quick get-ready.

Acts 3:6
"I don't have any silver or gold for you. But I'll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!"
