Just writing that title makes my heart skip beats.  For reals y'all, where have the last almost 6 years gone??

The days and weeks leading up to K found me in an emotional funk and a scramble to do everything possibly known to my child that was fun and that she get in every last moment of her being little.  Because let's face it, once they start school, it's never the same.  It's not bad.  It's just not the same.  Overnight, she grew up.  All of the sudden, she's not my baby girl (although, she will always be).  She's a school kid and she loves it.  And while I'm left wondering, "what happened to us," I'm so very thankful for where we are in life.  We have two very healthy and happy big girls and our happy little miracle who is also so close to being the micropreemie picture of health.  We're extremely thankful for a school where our babies can freely learn about Jesus AND the ABC's.  It honestly doesn't get any better than that.

Now, if we could sell this house to get closer to school that would be the icing on the cake.  The drive and schedule of our first week is already kicking this non-routine and unscheduled lil'
family straight in the rear.  I'm not sure I've ever said this, but TGIF!!

Mrs. Lyon, Anna Claire's Kindergarten teacher.

And for Papa and Nini and Papaw and Gigi, I present Anna Claire in, the days of the week!

I'm really not sure where the pose came from, but it began on Monday and was carried through all week.  I do have to say, I love my sweet girl in her uniforms.  Oh, so cute!

Hoping to be back to at least bi-weekly blogging soon on kids, preemie stuff, and just this everyday crazy life.

I pray everyone has a great school year!  I know we will!
