Spring into Easter

Monday, April 9, 2012

Wednesday, Alli had a pulmonology appointment.  After the appointment we took the girls to the mall.  This was our first and only opportunity to let AC and Ava visit with the Easter Bunny.  Ava is a hard sale, but never with Santa, the Easter Bunny, or any other character.  She walked right up and started playing games like they were old friends.  Anna Claire made him a letter.  Naturally, I forgot my camera, so we're dealing with some instagram pics.

Last Thursday, John kept Alli while Ava and I were able to spend the entire day with Anna Claire.  We ate lunch with AC (she's been begging for months) and helped out with the Easter party and egg hunt. I must say, I love her teacher and her school.  It's such a blessing to be able to send our daughter to a school that loves Jesus and where EVERYONE is able to freely talk about HIM!  Ava jumped right in and joined the class like she'd been there the entire year.  I think she's an honorary member of the King's Academy Pre-K 2011-2012 class.

Friday and Saturday were our usual...slip n' slide, being poolside, and playroom sleepovers!  We love our lazy weekends at home, especially since it's now so tolerable outside.  We did have the addition of the egg coloring contest and extravaganza.  Anna Claire kept noting that she was, "bedazzling" her eggs.

Someone as figured out how to get to her basket and pull everything out....

Love, love, love these loving sisters

Holding on tight

I'll be posting pictures later of the girls newest favorite outside fun....the slip n' slide.  We've had it for about 2 weeks and it's already logged a ton of hours.  Easter, the girls figured out the soap trick and Anna Claire broke out the sleds.  No one was injured during the taking of these pictures!
